About Mitch

Hey, thanks for stopping by.  Feel free to call me Mitch. everyone does! Dad wanted a boy, hence the name, which I have grown quite fond of. I am a Brooklyn-born actress residing in Prospect Heights.

As a filmmaker, I wrote and produced my first short film, Nana’s Room which tells the story of my character Mia and is loosely based on time I spent with my ill father. It’s a heartfelt story of life, love, loss, and finding the strength to overcome one’s fears.  It won over 25 awards including Top Shorts Film Festival’s Honorable Mention, Most Inspirational Film, Best Trailer and Best Song. The film was nominated for 5 awards at the LA Rising Above Women’s Film Festival for Best Director, Best Short Film, Best Cast, Best Actress, and Best Multi-Hyphenate. It won Best Actress during a worldwide pandemic at the Brooklyn Oktober Film Festival. I’m so proud of this labor of love!
